Garbage for 13th Nov
Rehash a cold race night run from Robbies!
Set the run with SIF after changing plans due to traffic jams. Into the pub by 1810
and supping a beer when a bevvy of Police descended on the place looking for
someone. We said “it wasn’t us” and they left. The mob arrived including BSH
with visitor Sensitive Touch and her offside, new boot Luke.
When 15 or so had arrived and SIF and I had finished our third jug we toddled off
outside to get the pack under way. Off they strolled into the gloom while we
drove round to Hagley park; by the end of the Old Blenheim rd roundabout. Sat
there for hours until the pack turned up by which time it was getting a bit
cool. Hurled abuse at the pack for lack of speed walking to no avail!! Off
again and the trail wandered around the south park and into the North park and
around and about before ending up at Fingers workplace on Straven Rd. One of her
bosses lives there (Kelly) and her fella (Tim) kindly put on some snags for us.
By this time it was bitterly cold and a quick fines circle was held to avoid
having it in the packed pub carpark. Apart from the visitors and the hosts down
downs went to a few more but as my frozen fingers could not write I have no idea
who!! However, among those who deserved it would have been Bag Shag, Frigid,
Klingon, Dogs, Labrat, and a long lost but now returned “Sauce For The Goose” Mr
Plank as usual and a very naughty Lusty who crawled along having been to the
races all day. Could not have fined Oxy and Linc as they were being very well
behaved (Old age setting in?)
On Home and a good night in the pub with points used from the loyalty card to buy
some beers and chips. Good run, good On On………….
Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the Xmas do. Do not lose your ticket as you need
it to claim the door prize if you win one.
Next weeks run is set by Firkin from 14 Cellars Way
Finally, our thoughts are with Dawn Breaker and G Sus as they come to terms with the
tragic ,unexpected loss of her son Mikey. We passed on sympathies from the Hash
at the funeral service in Oxford on Friday.
